OBJECTIVES:
The National conference, VIBHAVAT 2024 is a vibrant platform that brings together scholars, educators and researchers from various disciplines. It is a hub for exchange of multidiscipline comprising of Innovative research and Investigation of diverse educational practices. The conference is scheduled on 28th November, 2024 at RJS FG College as a part of IQAC(NAAC) initiative. This event represents a noteworthy chance for intellectual development and scholary engagement, with focus on knowledge expansion and advancement in Multidisciplinary research.

OPENING REMARKS:
The inaugural session was held between 9.30 am - 10.30 am. During the session Lt.G.N.Ramakrishna Reddy, NCC Officer and English HOD, as the Master of ceremony invited Ms Harshitha B S and Ms.Bhanupriya B P, students of 5th sem B.Sc Biotechnology for the invocation to seek the blessings of Almighty. and it was followed by welcome address by Dr.Nagabhushana Reddy, Principal and convener of the conference. Further the dignitaries – President of Prestigious KRJS, Shri Gopal Reddy, Shri Gaurav Reddy, members of KRJS, Principal, Vice principal, Shri KL Rajesh, Dr.Jyothi R, IQAC Coordinator / HOD BT, delegates and student volunteers witnessed the lamp lighting ceremony. It was followed with the address on concept note of the conference by Dr.Jyothi R, IQAC Coordinator/HOD BT and co-convener of the conference, who elucidated about the overview of the conference ,its outcome and further as a part of this the soft copy of Conference proceedings was released in the form of CD. Prof. Ramana, Former Registrar, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur addressed the Delegates online and enlightened the gathering on the significance of multidisciplinary conference and appreciated the IQAC for coming out with the excellent theme and also suggested on way of its implementation in Higher education. Further Shri S. Jayaram reddy, President, KRJS, presided over the inaugural session and expressed the need of such events as platform for the knowledge exchange among the stakeholders and conveyed the best wishes for the success of this spectacular event.
KEY NOTE ADDRESS:
Mr. K L Rajesh, Vice principal/HOD commerce introduced the speaker.
Dr.Parvathi Venkatesh, former Dean, University of Mumbai, Mumbai connected on virtual platform and addressed on the them thematic based title, ‘Multi-pronged strategy for a responsible future’. The sustainability in the Business, Biotechnology, Computer Science, literature, environment was told by the speaker. Also the resource person highlighted about sustainable development goals and also the association with economic development.
TECHNICAL SESSION-1
Mrs. Chakradhari P, HOD computer science introduced the resource person Dr.Vijaya A, Principal, United mission Arts and science college, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. Then on the virtual platform speaker addressed on “Bridging the Gap: Real-Time insights and Sustainability in Education”. During the presentation, the speaker expressed that technology is a way to education. The concept of adoptability, flexibility shall be a part of socio-economic and environmental Sustainability.
TECHNICAL SESSION-2
The Delegates presented the papers both online and offline in three different venues.
LUNCH: During 1.15-1.45pm, sumptuous lunch was arranged to all the delegates.
TECHNICAL SESSION-3
Dr. Yogananda, faculty, Computer Science introduced the speaker Mr.Mahesh Pavan, project manager, WTT technologies, India. The speaker presented on the title “Unleash your Skills and Knowledge” shared real-time facts, success and satisfaction as important part of life

The Delegates presented the papers both online and offline at three different venues.
FEEDBACK
The feedback was obtained from the participants through google link. The Delegates have expressed their happiness about the overall arrangements during the conference.
CLOSING REMARKS
As a part of Valedictory Session, Dr.Jyothi R, IQAC Coordinator/HOD BT presented the review of the days programme. and expressed gratitude to the KRJS management, principal, IQAC, Staff, delegates and students for the conference success. Further the principal in the addressed expressed thanks to all. The session concluded with group photo session and National anthem.
DISTRIBUTION OF CERTIFICATES
The kits comprising of writing pad, pen, attendance and OOD letters were distributed to the Delegates.
RJS First Grade College Celebrated Annual Athletic meet on 2nd July 2024 at St.John’s Ground, Koramangala, Bengaluru.

Awards:
Mr. Prajwal Hegde, Final year BCom, was awarded the Best Athlete
of the Year trophy (Boys Division) for outstanding performance
in multiple events.
Ms. Sowmya, Second year BSc (PMCs), was awarded the Best Athlete
of the Year trophy (Girls Division) for outstanding performance
in multiple events.
Chief Guest:
Mrs. Nandini, International Netball player, graced the event as the chief guest and distributed prizes to the winners.
Conclusion:
The Annual athletic meet of RJS First Grade College was a resounding success, showcasing the talent, dedication, and team spirit of the students. The event fostered a sense of community and healthy competition among the students, and we look forward to next year's event.
RJS First Grade College organised International Yoga Day in association with Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari (Karnataka Vibhag) in collaboration with KRJS Group of Institutions. Our esteemed institutions management committee members, Lalitha M S, Life worker of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, Smt.Gayathri, Social worker and Mrs. Veena Shrihari, Karyakartha Vivekananda Kendra (Karnataka Vibhag), Principal's of KRJS Institutions witnessed the programme. NSS, NCC and YRC Volunteers enthusiastically participated in this programme, nearly 175 students happily involved and made the International Yoga Day as a memorable day in our college.
Inauguration of 9th Edition of SMILE 2024 organised by Student Council, RJSFGC on 05-06-2024
Plantation drive was conducted on the occasion of World Environment Day on 09/06/2024 by NSS, NCC & Eco Club Units of RJS First Grade College. Sri. S JAYARAMA REDDY, President, Sri.N. SHEKAR REDDY, General Secretary and Sri.VASUDEV BABU & Sri.MAHESH, MC Members, KRJS participated in the plantation drive, to sensitize the importance of environment and encouraged youth to preserve the environment for healthy life.
Walkathon was conducted on the occasion of World Environment Day on 05/06/2024 by NSS, NCC & Eco Club Units of RJS First Grade College. Walkathon from RJS FG College CAMPUS to AGARA LAKE was nearly 6 kms, participated Management committee members, 116 student volunteers with 15 staff members and the programme motto is to spread awareness among the volunteers and public the importance of World Environmental Day, overall the programme was a grand success.
Clean and Green Campus Drive was organised by NSS & NCC Unit of RJS First Grade College on 31/05/2024 @ 10.30am at RJS First Grade College Campus, Koramangala. Sri. JAYARAMA REDDY, President, Sri.Prabhakar Reddy, MC Member, Sri.Shantharaju, MC Member actively participated in this event and the programme was a grand success.
Blood Donation Camp was conducted on 30/05/2024 by NSS, NCC & YRC Units of RJS First Grade College in association with Lions Club, Wilson Garden, Bangalore. The 101 Unit were collected of which 50 units to Kidwai Hospital, Bangalore and the remaining units distributed to Lions Club. Dignitaries of the event were Sri.N Shekar Reddy, General Secretary, KRJS and MC Members, KRJS and Mr.Ravindra, Coordinator of Lions Club, Wilson Garden.
"BT BUZZ" - The BT Fest was organized by Department of Biotechnology, RJS FIRST GRADE COLLEGE from 27.5.2024 to 6.6.2024.The B.Sc Biotechnology students took initiative in organizing various events such as their subjects based Pick n Speak, Debate, Product Launch, Dahm Charades, Treasure hunt, Students seminar, Exhibition. The inaugural address was witnessed by Dr.Nagabhushana Reddy P, Principal & Dr.Jyothi R, HOD, BT, Mrs.Roopa, Senior faculty, Coordinator, Mrs.Swapna Panati, Senior faculty, Mrs.Vanitha, Senior faculty, Student volunteers and the students. Overall the programme was grand success.
